When I started out with classic shaving, I wasn't sure which soap/cream to use. I chose this one and after asking Adrian for his opinion, I went for it. Like everything, it requires technique and on the first shave, I got the impression that the foam wasn't of very high quality (not very consistent). To compare, I had another Proraso foam (blue line) that I bought at a large supermarket in the area. I saw that my mistake was in using too little Lea cream and too much water. Once I adjusted the proportions and put the brush to work for longer, everything fell into place with a very good foam and more than adequate protection. And what's more, it's a national product. Excellent value for money.
